December 19, 2019
Release Notes
We're pleased to present our 2019.7 Service Update. This release includes the following:
Features
We've changed our internal user license (IUL) allocation model in File Protection Manager to provide our partners with up to 20 IUL File Protection Desktop licenses.
For the first 180 days after your File Protection account is enabled, those 20 licenses are available without restriction. After 180 days, you are eligible for one IUL Desktop license for every two paid Desktop licenses in non-IUL teams, up to a maximum of 20.
Two File Protection Server Licenses will also be permanently available.
To learn more about IULs, please refer to Create a new team.
File Protection Manager and File Protection Online are now available in Dutch! Just go to Select an interface language to learn how to switch your interface language.
Changes
The comprehensive team executive report introduced to the Team detail page in our 2019.6 Service Update now features a more streamlined and elegant presentation.
The Teams page in File Protection Manager now features a new Additional Storage column to help you keep track of storage purchased by metered plan teams. Unlimited storage teams will sinply display Unlimited in this new column.
Issue Resolutions
In addition to a variety of minor enhancements and stability improvements, the following issues are resolved in this release:
For partners who offer metered plans only, the display and spacing of the last two widgets on the File Protection Manager Dashboard has been amended. These widgets will not display for partners who sell both plan types or unlimited plans only.
This issue prevented users from saving or scheduling File ProtectionReports, but has now been resolved.
