QUESTION How can I find out exactly which files are excluded from backup?

I know paths and folders can be excluded from backup by my administrator on the Backup Exclusions page in File Protection Online, or on the Manage Backups window in File Protection Desktop.

NOTE Exclusions are cumulative, so the exclusions you add via File Protection Desktop are added to the ones selected or created in File Protection Online.

How can I find out which actual files are being excluded?

ANSWER Just find your log files.

Locate your log files as described in Find your File Protection log files.
Unzip the log files that have been placed on your desktop.
Open exclusions.xml. This file lists all backup exclusions.
