QUESTION
How does File Protection handle really large files that change frequently?
ANSWER Some limitations apply to very large files that change often, but the files will be backed up.
Certain files, for instance your email repository, tend to be large and change frequently.
To avoid saturation of your Internet connection bandwidth by backing up the same data over and over, File Protection has a daily file size limitation of 500 MB. On first backup, the file will backup immediately and in full, regardless of size. After the initial backup, a 1000 MB file will backup every second day, and a 2500 MB file will backup every fifth day, and so on.
If a file is 100 MB and changes frequently, only five versions will be backed up per day.
